Eucharistic Adoration

Many first-timers wonder, “What do I do during Adoration?” The beauty of this time is that there’s no one way to participate. You can pray the Rosary, journal, read spiritual books, or just rest in the silence of God’s love. Sometimes, you may find that simply sitting and “gazing at Christ as He gazes at you” is enough, echoing the words of a humble French farmer: “I look at Him, and He looks at me.”

Be encouraged to see Adoration as an intimate encounter with Jesus Christ, where we offer ourselves in humility and receive His grace. This simple act of being with Him can bring peace to the most restless hearts, clarity to confusion, and healing to wounds of the soul

Adoration is not just a personal act—it has spiritual effects for the entire community. Spending time with Christ in the Eucharist strengthens our relationship with Him and empowers us to love others more fully. It is an opportunity to grow in gratitude, offer intercessions for loved ones, and entrust the needs of the world to Christ’s care.

As St. Elizabeth of the Trinity once said, “Lord, the one you love is weeping,” we too can intercede for others, bringing their needs before the Lord during our time of Adoration.

Whether you come to pray, meditate, or simply rest in the presence of Jesus, Adoration allows you to open your heart and receive the peace that only He can provide; bring all your concerns, joys, and struggles to Jesus. This hour is your chance to connect with the Lord on a deep, personal level.

As an adorer, you are not only spending time with Jesus, but you are also praying on behalf of the entire parish community and making the chapel available to others. This selfless act brings great comfort to others, knowing that someone is always in prayer for them before the Blessed Sacrament and that they can stop in to pray whenever the chapel is open.

By committing to an hour, you become a part of the spiritual backbone of our parish. Your prayers extend beyond yourself to our parish family, the universal Church, and the world.

Silent Adoration Chapel
This will be a silent space.  Echoing Cardinal Robert Sarah’s words, “Christ lived for thirty years in silence. Then, during His public life, He withdrew to the desert to listen to and speak with His Father. The world vitally needs those who go off into the desert because God speaks in silence.” Thank you for being what the world vitally needs as “those who go off into the desert” when you spend time with Jesus at the chapel

Respecting Sacred Spaces
Please refrain from touching the statues or placing any items on them (such as flower arrangements, rosaries, or other gifts).

Sign-In Process
It is important that all adorers and visitors sign in each time they visit. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensures that Jesus is never left alone in the chapel.

We encourage all adorers to keep the following intentions in their prayers:

• The spiritual and material needs of our parish and the universal Church
• Vocations to the priesthood and religious life
• The sanctity of all human life, from conception to natural death
• The prayer intentions listed in the notebook in the chapel
• The prayer intentions in the parish prayer basket
• Your personal intentions
